The featured game of the day has the Dallas Mavericks hosting the Miami Heat at 7:30PM ET. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Mavericks are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -8 points against the Heat. The over/under total for the game has been set at 207.5 points. Miami is 4-2 on the season, 1-1 on the road and 4-2 against the spread. Dallas is 4-2 overall, 2-0 at home and 4-2 against the spread. Miami has won six straight over Dallas, but the Mavericks have covered the spread in two of the last three meetings. These two have hit the over in eight straight meetings.
Another game of note today has the Phoenix Suns hosting the Golden State Warriors at 8PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Warriors as the slight favorite on the road, as they are getting odds of -1 point against the Suns tonight. The over/under total for the game has been set at 210 points. Golden State is 5-0 overall, 3-0 on the road and 5-0 against the spread. Phoenix is 3-3 overall, 2-2 at home and 2-3-1 against the spread. The home team has won six of the last seven in this series and the home team has also covered the spread in six of the last seven. These two have hit the over in five of their last seven meetings.
Another featured game today has the Detroit Pistons hosting the Utah Jazz at 6PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Pistons favored at home, as they are getting odds of -4 points against the Jazz. The over/under total for the game has been set at 196.5 points. Utah is 2-4 overall, 0-2 on the road and 3-3 against the spread. Detroit is 2-3 overall, 2-1 at home and 0-5 against the spread. Utah has won and covered the spread in four of its last five against Detroit and the two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.
