The featured game of the day has the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Dallas Mavericks at 8PM ET. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Spurs are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -4.5 points against the Mavericks. The over/under total for the game has been set at 205.5 points. The Spurs were 62-20 last season and 32-9 at home while Dallas was 49-33 overall and 23-18 on the road. The Spurs have won three of their last four against the Mavericks, but Dallas has covered the spread in six of its last seven with San Antonio. The two have hit the over in five of their last six meetings.
Another featured game today has the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Houston Rockets at 10:30PM ET. The Rockets are favored on the road, as they are getting odds of -6 points at Los Angeles. The over/under total for the game has been set at 207.5 points. The Rockets were 54-28 overall last season and 21-20 on the road while the Lakers were just 27-55 overall and 14-27 at home. Houston has won its last three against Los Angeles, covering the spread in all three victories. The two have also hit the over in their last three meetings.
The final game today has the New Orleans Pelicans hosting the Orlando Magic at 8PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Pelicans favored at home, as they are getting odds of -9.5 points against the Magic. The over/under total for the game has been set at 196 points. The Pelicans went 34-48 last season overall and 22-19 at home. Orlando was 23-59 overall last year and 4-37 on the road. New Orleans has won six of its last eight against Orlando, and the Pelicans have covered the spread in eight of their last 10 against the Magic. The two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings.
