NBA Western Conference Odds to Win
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The odds to win the 2016 NBA Western Conference are out and the San Antonio Spurs are the current favorites to represent the conference in next year’s Finals.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Spurs are 2/1 favorites to win the Western Conference in 2016 while the defending champion Warriors have the next best odds at 3/1. The Thunder, meanwhile, are 9/2 while the Clippers are 6/1 and the Rockets are 9/1.
Continuing with the odds, the Grizzlies are 16/1 while the Pelicans are 20/1 and the Mavericks are 28/1. The Lakers, Suns and Blazers are all 50/1, respectively, while the Timberwolves are 75/1 and the Nuggets and Kings have the longest odds at 125/1, respectively.
The Spurs have won five Western Conference titles since the 2002-03 NBA season while the Lakers have won five conference championships since the 2001-02 season. The other victories over that time frame belong to the Mavericks (2005-06, 2010-11), the Thunder (2011-12) and the Warriors (2014-15).
