GS favored as schedule released
The NBA released the 2016-17 schedule earlier this week. Here is a look at the latest odds to win the NBA Finals.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Golden State Warriors are favored to win the title next season. Golden State is getting -120 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are the Cleveland Cavaliers (+275) and the San Antonio Spurs (+1200).
The NBA has made it a point to feature big games on Christmas Day and this season will be no different. The league has scheduled a Finals rematch between the Cavaliers and the Warriors at 2:30PM ET. Also joining them on ABC that day is the Chicago Bulls taking on the San Antonio Spurs at 5PM ET.
The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks will meet up on the day as well while the Minnesota Timberwolves face the Oklahoma City Thunder and the L.A. Clippers and L.A. Lakers close out the night.

The season gets started on Oct. 25 with the Cavaliers raising their championship banner against the Knicks. The Cavaliers are fresh off signing LeBron James to a 3-year, $100 million deal. The Warriors will be featured on national television often this season. The addition of Kevin Durant to the roster has given them even more national appeal.
