One of the primetime matchups on Thursday night in the NBA pits the 76ers against the Bucks at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT. Is 6.5 too much to lay with a Bucks team that hasn’t been great against the spread recently?

Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid hit 3-of-9 shots and 13-of-16 free throws for 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and a block in 26 minutes of an ugly 135-87 loss to the Celtics on Tuesday. That snaps a streak of 31 straight games with at least 25 points for Embiid and the list of other Sixers to score in double figures tonight is: Tyrese Maxey with 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting. That’s it. Tobias Harris hit 2-of-7 shots for six points and Paul Millsap made his Sixers debut and scored nine meaningless points in nine minutes. This box score is painful to look at and can probably just be thrown in the trash. The Sixers are clearly ready for the All-Star break and will finish out the week with another tough match-up at Milwaukee on Thursday night.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished Tuesday’s 128-119 win over the Pacers with 50 points (17-of-21 FGs, 14-of-18 FTs), 14 rebounds, four assists, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes. After sitting out Monday’s loss to the Blazers, Antetokounmpo was back in action Tuesday night. And he took full advantage of a Pacers frontcourt that was ill-equipped to defend him, tallying a season-high 50 points and doing so in an incredibly efficient manner. But it’s worth noting that this is the second time in Antetokounmpo’s last three games that he’s made 17 field goals, as he went 17-of-20 in a February 8 win over the Lakers. And the last time he scored 50 in a game: Game 6 of last season’s NBA Finals. Closing in on top-10 value for the season, the reigning Finals MVP is ranked 7th in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks.
76ers vs. Bucks NBA Betting Prediction
The Sixers are winless against the spread in their last four games in Milwaukee and are just 1-5 against the number in their last six games versus the Bucks overall. They’re also just 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven games and are 2-6 against the number in their last eight games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in its previous contest.
