Philadelphia 76ers DFS Spin
Joel Embiid returned from a three-game absence due to illness and hit 8-of-21 shots, a 3-pointer and 16-of-16 free throws for 33 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a block in 37 minutes of Monday’s 100-88 win over the Suns. Embiid didn’t miss a beat tonight and while the shooting could have been better, the 16-of-16 free throws were awesome for a fantasy center. He should be ready for a tasty matchup against the Hawks on Thursday night.
Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
Trae Young (shin) returned to action on Wednesday vs. Utah and scored 22 points with nine assists, four rebounds, two steals and two triples in 36 minutes. Atlanta has scored 100-plus points in its first 11 games, matching the longest streak to open the season set in 1989-90. If we include last season, the Hawks have scored 100-plus in 32 consecutive games which is second to only New Orleans (37). A certain player named Trae Young may have had something to do with that, although he still hasn’t found his rhythm shooting the ball — he was hitting 38% from the field prior to Wednesday’s 10-of-28 performance.
