Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes

Joel Embiid dropped an easy 34 points in a blowout win vs. Minnesota on Friday to go with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three triples. It’s just one game, but the arrival of James Harden made Embiid’s life a cakewalk tonight. “That was probably the most wide open I’ve ever been in my career,” Embiid said after the game. The MVP candidate is used to getting double teamed and swarmed in the paint, but having Harden on the floor will force teams to pick their poison. There’s no reason to downgrade Embiid’s fantasy appeal going forward.

New York Knicks DFS Notes

Julius Randle struggled on Friday, going 2-of-15 from the floor (0-of-4 3-pointers) with eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and four turnovers as the Knicks lost to the Heat 115-100. Randle did not have his best night to say the least, but neither did any of his Knicks teammates, other than RJ Barrett, who poured in 46. Randle had scored at least 28 in seven-straight games prior to the all-star break, and had eclipsed 30 in four of those games, so the break definitely did not do Randle any favors. Mitchell Robinson put up a donut in 29 minutes, and grabbed nine rebounds with one steal and one block. Evan Fournier shot 5-of-16 from the floor (3-of-10 from three) and added three rebounds, two assists, and one turnover in 36 minutes.

Bucks vs. Suns NBA Betting Prediction

The under is a perfect 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams and is 5-0 in the last five meetings at Madison Square Garden as well. The under is also 7-1 in the Sixers’ last eight games coming off a win of more than 10 points and is 33-16-2 in their last 51 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. On the other side, the under is 5-0 in the Knicks’ last five games when facing an opponent with a winning record.

NBA BETTING PREDICTION: 76ERS/KNICKS UNDER 217
