Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Bulls are 2-point favorites to beat the Hawks. The total, meanwhile, sits at 221.5 points and as of this writing, 57% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Bulls to cover the point spread.
Atlanta Hawks Fantasy Spin
Taurean Prince returned to the starting lineup on Monday and finished with nine points, two rebounds, one 3-pointer and one assist over 25 minutes. Head coach Lloyd Pierce said prior to the game that he didn’t have a “definitive plan” for bringing Pierce back into the starting five, but with Kevin Huerter (neck) going down during warmups, he was inserted into the starting five. He should be able to stick with the starting unit moving forward, so we’d expect his usage rate and minutes to start trending up.
Chicago Bulls Fantasy Spin
Carmelo Anthony has officially been traded to the Bulls. Houston will attach their draft rights to Jon Diebler and $1.56 million in cash to get the deal done, with Chicago sending back the draft rights to Tadija Dragicevoc. Melo won’t actually play for the Bulls, but Chicago will hold onto him until the trade deadline to see if they can use him in a potential deal. Given the way that Anthony has played over the past two years, there’s no incentive to stash him.
NBA Betting Trends
Atlanta
The Hawks are 3-8-1 against the spread in their last 12 road games versus a team with a home winning percentage of less than .400.
Chicago
The Bulls have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five home games and are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games coming off a win.
Prediction
The Hawks are winless at the betting window in their last four games versus the Bulls while the favorite has covered in 42 of the last 62 meetings between these two teams. Atlanta is 2-8-1 at the betting window in its last 11 road games versus a team with a losing home record and is 0-4 ATS in its last four games when facing a team with a losing record.
