According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Griffin returned home from the Clippers’ road trip after suffering a possible fracture in his right hand following an “undisclosed team-related incident.” That team incident has come out to be that Griffin got into an altercation with an equipment manager. Griffin has already been dealing with a quad injury that has sidelined him since Dec. 26. That, combined with the hand injury, will keep Griffin out a number of weeks.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Clippers are currently listed with 25/1 odds to win the NBA Finals. They have the fifth shortest odds in the league right now. They are also listed with 12/1 odds to win the Western Conference.

The Clippers have actually performed quite well without Griffin, going 11-3 in his absence this season. Currently, Los Angeles is 28-16 for the season, which puts them fourth in the West. They are still 12.5 games behind the Warriors for first in the Pacific Division. Griffin is averaging a team-high 23.2 points this season and he also is pulling down 8.7 rebounds with 5.0 assists per game.
