Blazers vs. Warriors Prediction
After snapping their three-game losing streak the Trail Blazers will try to win back-to-back games for the first time in a couple of weeks. But that won’t be an easy task tonight in Oakland.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Blazers are a 12.5-point road underdog at the Warriors tonight at 10:30PM ET. Portland opened as a 13-point dog before the number was bet down, while the total has been bet up from 224 to 226.5.
Only 52% of public bettors are taking Golden State to cover the double digits tonight
A couple of weeks ago when the Blazers were on a roll, taking any amount of points would have been a gift, even against the Warriors. But Portland has struggled over its last four games, losing at Boston, at Toronto and at Detroit before finally rebounding in a 116-109 overtime victory at home versus Washington. The Blazers’ struggles start on defense, where they’ve allowed at least 116 points in three of their last four games.
That’s not a good omen heading into tonight’s game, where the Warriors can obviously shoot the lights out with Steph Curry and Co. Golden State has owned Portland in this series, as the Blazers are just 8-20 against the spread in their last 28 games versus the Warriors. They’ve also failed to cover in 19 of their last 26 trips to Oakland.
