Milwaukee Bucks Daily Fantasy Spin

Bucks superstar power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable to play on Friday with a calf injury. Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season.

Milwaukee center Brook Lopez (knee) and point guard Damian Lillard (groin) are both listed as probable to play against Atlanta on Friday. Lillard is averaging 25.1 points and 7.4 assists per contest this year.

Milwaukee acquired forward Kyle Kuzma and center Jericho Sims in a trade that sent out veteran small forward Khris Middleton ahead of this week’s trading deadline. It’s unknown if Kuzma or Sims will be ready to play for the Bucks against the Hawks on Friday night.

Atlanta Hawks Daily Fantasy Spin

Hawks center Clint Capela (personal) will miss Friday’s clash with the Bucks. Capela is averaging 9.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest this year.

Atlanta point guard Trae Young is probable to play on Friday as he works his way back from an Achilles ailment. Young is putting up 23.2 points and 11.5 assists per game this season.

The Hawks received guards Bones Hyland and Terance Mann in a deal with the Clippers that shipped out shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic. Atlanta also traded away small forward DeAndre Hunter to the Cavaliers. The Hawks got small forward Georges Niang and shooting guard Caris LeVert in that deal. It’s unclear if Hyland, Mann, Niang, or LeVert will be ready to go against the Bucks on Friday night.

Milwaukee is 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games against Atlanta.

Milwaukee is 14-10-1 ATS when playing an opponent on equal rest this season.

Atlanta is 12-15 ATS after a loss this season.

Atlanta is 13-16 ATS when playing on 1 day of rest this season.

Bucks vs. Hawks NBA Prediction:

Atlanta will be without 3 of their top 9 scorers for this game. The Hawks traded away both DeAndre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic to contenders for lesser players and draft picks. Hunter was averaging 19.0 points per game and Bogdanovic was averaging 10.0 points per contest. Atlanta center Clint Capela will sit out Friday due to personal reasons, so Atlanta will be without his 9.4 points per game against Milwaukee. Combined, the Hawks will be missing 38.4 points per game in scoring. It’s also unclear if the players they received back in the trades they made will be ready to play on Friday.

Milwaukee won’t have Khris Middleton for this contest as they traded him away at the deadline, but that shouldn’t be that big of a loss. Middleton was averaging just 12.6 points per game in 23 appearances and 7 starts this season. The Bucks have a bevy of wings that should be able to slide in and play even if Kyle Kuzma isn’t ready to go. For that reason and more, I’m laying the points with the Bucks in Atlanta on Friday night.

Bucks vs. Hawks Prediction: MILWAUKEE BUCKS -5.5
