Antetokounmpo wins individual battle with Wemby
Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 11-of-21 from the field and 3-of-7 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 121-105 win over San Antonio, scoring 25 points with 16 points, eight assists, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.
Facing Victor Wembanyama for the first time this season, Giannis won the individual battle convincingly on Wednesday. He finished two assists shy of a triple-double, with the foul line (3-of-7 FTs) and turnovers (four) being the lone issues. Antetokounmpo made some history on Wednesday as he moved past Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and into the top spot on the Bucks’ career double-doubles list. Milwaukee hits the road for its final two games of Week 11, beginning with Orlando on Friday.
Bitadze stuffs stat sheet vs. Minnesota
Goga Bitadze posted a full line on Thursday with 15 points (7-of-12 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks against Minnesota. Bitadze stuffed the stat sheet and led the team in scoring in their loss to the Timberwolves as he continues to be the team’s lone bright spot amidst all of the injuries. Luckily, Paolo Banchero is expected to be back in the lineup for their next game on Friday, and it was worth keeping an eye on Bitadze. He has more than earned his starting spot, but will they feel that Wendell Carter Jr. fits next to Banchero better? Hopefully that isn’t the case, and Bitadze will get the chance to continue to post excellent numbers moving forward.
Bucks vs. Magic NBA Prediction:
Take Orlando. In the last five meetings between these two teams, the Magic covered in four times. That includes the last time these two teams squared off, which was December 10 of this season. Laying 8 points as a home favorite, the Bucks failed to cover in a 114-109 victory over the Magic. While Milwaukee is just 16-19-1 against the spread this season, Orlando has been decent at 20-18-1 at the window in 2024-25.
