Can the slumping Rockets lean on James Harden in efforts to pick up a win this evening against the Pacers at 6:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Pacers are now 3-point home underdogs versus the Thunder after they opened as a 3.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 227 and has been bet down to 225.5.

Harden posted a triple-double during a 123-118 win over the 76ers on Friday night, scoring 51 points with 13 rebounds, 13 assists, two steals, two blocks and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes. That’s his second 50-point triple-double in the last month. Harden became the first player ever to record multiple 50-point triple-doubles in the same season.

The Pacers needed overtime to beat the Kings on Friday, but came away with a 115-111 victory over visiting Sacramento. Paul George scored 33 points in the victory, adding four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 45 minutes of play. C.J. Miles also chipped in with 18 points and two rebounds while Myles Turner scored 14 points to go along with four assists.

OUR PREDICTION: The home team has cashed in five of the last six meetings between these two teams and the Rockets are just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games in Indiana. Furthermore, Houston is struggling to cover on the road, posting a 1-4 ATS mark away from its home court over its last five games. The Rockets are also 0-5 against the number in their last five games coming off a win while the Pacers are 6-2 at the betting window in their last eight games playing on one day of rest.
