Can the Cavaliers cover a double-digit spread at home against the Lakers?

Cavs favored by double figures

With a new coach, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been taking care of the teams they are supposed to. Will they roll past the Los Angeles Lakers when they meet tonight at 8PM ET on ESPN?

View NBA Finals Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Cleveland is the heavy favorite at home, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -15.5 points against the Lakers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 207.5 points.

Cleveland (37-14) has won seven of its last nine entering tonight’s game and the Cavs have covered the spread in four of their last five at home. The Cavs have quite the spread to deal with tonight, but they have covered the spread in three straight as a double digit favorite, disposing of the Kings, Pelicans and Suns at home in those three games.

The Lakers (11-43) will see Kobe Bryant playing in his final road game against LeBron James, but they are just 14-16 against the spread in road games this season and Cleveland has covered the spread in both meetings with the Lakers since LeBron returned to Cleveland.
