LeBron returns to Miami today
MIAMI, FL (TheSpread) – LeBron James returns to his old stomping grounds today when he leads the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Miami Heat at 5PM ET.
Cleveland is 17-10 on the season, 6-5 on the road and 11-16 against the spread. Miami is 13-16 on the year, 5-10 at home and 13-15-1 against the spread. Miami has won 10 straight over Cleveland, but these two have met to meet this year with their new-look rosters. Miami could be without Chris Bosh, as he is dealing with a calf injury.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Cleveland is favored on the road, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Heat. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set.
Cleveland has won three straight entering this game, but the Cavs are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games. Miami is coming into today’s game losers in three of their last four and they are just 5-5 ATS in their last 10. The Heat have hit the under in seven of their last 10 games.
