Cavs looking for eighth straight win
CLEVELAND, OH (TheSpread) – The Cleveland Cavaliers are the hottest team in the Eastern Conference. They look for their eighth straight win tonight when they host the Toronto Raptors at 7PM ET.
Cleveland is 12-7 overall, 6-4 at home and 9-10 against the spread. Toronto is 16-5 overall, 6-2 on the road and 12-9 against the spread. These two have met twice already with each team picking up a road win. The underdog has covered the spread in both games as well and they have hit the under in both contests.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Cleveland is the favorite to win this game at home, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -6 points against the Raptors. The over/under total for the game has been set at 206.5 points.
Toronto has won three of its last four games, going 2-2 against the spread in those four games. The lone loss was to the Cavaliers at home. Toronto hasn’t been an underdog since its win at Cleveland on Nov. 22. Cleveland has won seven straight, going 5-2 against the spread in this span. Cleveland has been the favorite in all but one game in the stretch, the win at Toronto.
