Celtics vs. Lakers Public Betting: Bettors Backing Boston

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 68% of public bettors are currently backing the Celtics when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Kornet accounts for two points in OT win

Luke Kornet accounted for two points (0-of-2 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes in Wednesday’s overtime win over the Clippers. With Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford out, Kornet received the starting nod for Wednesday’s game. While he did record one steal and one blocked shot, the lack of rebounding production was the most significant issue for the few who streamed Kornet. Porzingis and Horford should be available for Thursday’s game against the Lakers, so there’s no need to consider adding (or holding onto) Kornet.

Davis, LeBron probable to face Boston

Anthony Davis (right calf soreness) and LeBron James (left foot injury management) are probable for Thursday’s game against the Celtics. Davis has shown up on recent injury reports due to a case of plantar fasciitis, but a sore calf is the reason for his most recent appearance. He and James are probable for the latest installment in one of the NBA’s signature rivalries, so fantasy managers should expect to see them on the court.

Celtics vs. Lakers NBA Prediction:

Take Boston. Although the Lakers won the last meeting with the Celtics in February of last year, the Celtics are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games versus Los Angeles. They’ve also covered twice in their last three games, whereas the Lakers have dropped four out of their last six games at the betting window.

Celtics vs. Lakers Betting Prediction: BOSTON CELTICS -6
