Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Jayson Tatum went for 23 points on 8-of-23 shooting from the floor (4-of-8 3-pointers) to go with 11 rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and one steal as the Celtics lost to the Warriors 107-97 in game 4 on Friday night. Tatum started the game hot, scoring 12 points in the first quarter and making all three of his three-point attempts. The Warriors locked in on him for the remainder of the game and held him to just 14 points the rest of the way. He was outstanding on the defensive end though as his four “stocks” were his highest of the series. He is still yet to shoot over 43% from the floor in a game this series nor has he crossed the 30-point plateau, so we will see if he can change that in what is now a best-of-3 from the NBA title.
Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Stephen Curry was absolutely unstoppable on Friday and poured in 43 points on 14-of-26 shooting (7-of-14 3-pointers) with 10 rebounds, four assists, and five turnovers as the Warriors beat the Celtics 107-97 on Friday night to even the series at 2-2. Curry was absolutely sensational on Friday night. If there is one thing that we can put to rest, it’s the doubts about his health. He looked as healthy as ever in this one, and he single-handedly kept the Warriors in the game all night long. Curry already had 33 points going into the fourth quarter, and he hit some huge shots down the stretch to help ice this one late. He also rebounded extremely well, as the 10 was his highest total this series. We now have a 2-2 series with game 5 in Golden State on Monday night.
Celtics vs. Warriors Game 5 NBA Finals
Despite the loss in Game 4, the Celtics are still a profitable 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine meetings with the Warriors and have covered in nine of their last 11 road games versus Golden State. Boston has also cashed in 13 of its last 16 games coming off a loss, is 9-2-1 ATS in its last 12 games as a road underdog and is 12-5 against the number in its last 17 NBA Finals games. The Warriors, meanwhile, are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a win and are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight NBA Finals matchups.
