According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Celtics are 7-point home favorites over the Hornets for tonight’s game while the over/under is sitting at 208 points, down from the opening number of 208.5.

The Hornets fell 113-98 to the Wizards on Sunday as Jeremy Lin missed all six of his attempts from the field. He registered just one point on 1-of-2 shooting from the free throw line in 22 minutes of action. Kemba Walker also scored 16 points on 4-of-11 shooting while looking passive for much of the game. It was an ugly loss for the Hornets considering the Wizards had nothing to play for and John Wall was out for Washington.

The Celtics, meanwhile, fell in Atlanta on Saturday in an 118-107 loss to the Hawks. Isaiah Thomas scored 16 points while grabbing two rebounds in the defeat. Amir Johnson also chipped in 14 points with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks in 26 minutes of play.
The Hornets have covered in five of their last six games when playing on back-to-back nights and are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games coming off a loss. They’re also 12-5-1 against the number in their last 18 road games versus the Celtics while the underdog is 26-9-1 ATS in the last 36 meetings between these two teams.
