According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Pacers are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Hornets. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 217.5 points. The public betting for this game currently has 77 percent going on the Pacers at home. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Hornets look for .500

The Hornets are a game out of .500 after picking up a 129-120 win at Atlanta on Saturday night. Charlotte is 27-28 on the season, 8-19 on the road, 28-27 against the spread and 29-25-1 with the over.

Charlotte has been in the middle of the road on both offense and defense all season. The Hornets are putting up 111.5 points per game on offense while giving up 111.2 points per game on defense. Tony Parker is listed as doubtful to play tonight due to a back injury. Kemba Walker has been a great player for them this year, averaging 25.1 points and 5.7 assists per game while Jeremy Lamb is adding 15.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest.

Pacers heating up again

After a dip following the injury to Victor Oladipo, the Pacers have gotten back on track by winning five straight. They are coming off a 105-90 win over the Cavs at home on Saturday. Indy has covered the spread in four of the five games. The Pacers are 37-19 on the season, 21-7 at home, 29-27 against the spread and 32-24 with the under.

The Pacers are the league’s top defensive team, allowing just 103.1 points per game while holding opponents to only 44.8 percent shooting. Offensively, Indiana shoots 47.9 percent as a team, but still manages just 108.5 points per game. Already without Victor Oladipo for the rest of the season, the team also has Myles Turner questionable to play tonight due to a knee injury. Turner averages 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Bojan Bogdanovic is the current team leader with 16.8 points per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Charlotte

The Hornets are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games on 1 day of rest, but just 2-10 ATS in their last 12 road games against a team with a winning home record.

Indiana

The Pacers have covered the spread in their last four home games against a team with a losing road record.

Prediction:

The home team has been solid in this series, going 9-2 against the spread in the last 11 meetings. That includes two meetings this season. The Pacers seemingly have settled into their new-look roster, disposing of three straight at home, including LeBron’s Lakers. The Hornets have been a shaky team on the road as is and just haven’t been consistent at all anyway, so I like Indiana at home. The Pacers have the defense to keep Walker from going nuts and Walker doesn’t have much for a supporting cast.

NBA Prediction: Indiana Pacers -5.5
