NBA Betting Trends
Chicago
The Bulls are just 3-11-1 against the spread in their last 15 games against Pacific Division opponents and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Western Conference.
Los Angeles
The Lakers are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five against Eastern Conference opponents.
Prediction:
The Lakers haven’t been very good without LeBron in the mix, losing at home to the likes of the Cavs, Knicks and others. Since the injury, they have just two wins by more than 7 points. The Bulls aren’t a good team, but they have managed to be competitive against some good teams, including a cover at Utah this weekend. I just don’t trust the Lakers to play well enough to really blow past a team. They haven’t showed a consistent ability to do that in their current form.
