Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – 2/21/16 NBA Trends and Odds

Cavs vs. Thunder Breakdown

The Oklahoma City Thunder hope to make a statement at home today when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers at 3:30PM ET on ABC.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Thunder are favored at home today, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Cavaliers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 215 points.

The Thunder (40-15, 22-33 ATS) believe they can make a run at the NBA Championship now that the team is finally healthy and together. Today they host the Cavaliers (39-14, 23-27-3 ATS) in a potential finals preview. OKC is coming off a surprising 101-98 loss at home to the Pacers on Friday, just their sixth loss at home this season. The Cavaliers are on a four-game win streak, including a 106-95 win on Thursday night over the Bulls.

The trends aren’t too supportive of the Thunder today, as they are 8-15 against the spread in non-conference games this season and they also are just 12-23 ATS on 1 day of rest, which is the worst record in the NBA. Cleveland has also won four of the last six in this series and is 5-1 ATS in those six meetings with the Thunder.
