The Philadelphia 76ers took care of business Monday night against the visiting Pacers but can they avoid a letdown on Tuesday when they host the Cleveland Cavs at 7:00 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the 76ers are 14.5-point favorites to beat the Cavs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 223 points and as of this writing, 59% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the 76ers to cover the point spread.
Cleveland Cavs Fantasy Spin
Cedi Osman played 35 minutes in Monday’s win over the Raptors, shooting 6-of-16 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line and finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers. Monday’s performance was a good one for Osman, who accounted for totals of ten points, ten rebounds and ten assists in the two games prior. Over the last month he’s been a top-75 player in nine-category leagues, and he stands to have even more on his plate Tuesday night in Philadelphia. Kevin Love will not play as he’s being rested in the second game of the back-to-back, and there’s a chance that Marquese Chriss could also miss the game after being ejected in the third quarter Monday for fighting.
Philadelphia 76ers Fantasy Spin
Joel Embiid (sore left knee) returned from an eight-game absence on Sunday with 33 points (11-of-21 FGs, 11-of-15 FTs), 12 rebounds and two steals. Embiid’s conditioning wasn’t great during a 5-on-5 workout Saturday, so he was limited to shorter bursts tonight. He got better as this game progressed and dropped 18 points on 6-of-6 shooting in the fourth quarter, but suggested he could rest more regular-season games down the stretch. Philly plays Tuesday, Friday and Sunday this week, which helps minimize the risk of immediate DNPs. It will be interesting to see if Philly rests him in a back-to-back on Mar. 19-20, though, given Embiid’s quotes after this game. “It all about load management,” he said. “I’m sure at some point I’m going to miss another game.” There’s nothing owners can do but start him and hope he doesn’t get rested.
NBA Betting Trends
Cleveland
The Cavs are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game.
Philadelphia
The Sixers are 4-1 against the number in their last five games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in its previous contest.
Prediction
The Cavs pulled off a stunner last night, beating the Raptors as a 9-pooint home underdog. The Cavs have been profitable in this series, covering the spread in five of their last seven games versus the Sixers. The road team has also covered in four straight and the underdog is 12-4 at the betting window in the past 16 meetings between Cleveland and Philadelphia. With the Sixers coming off a big home win against the Pacers and are likely to rest players like Jimmy Butler, give me the points in a letdown spot for Philly.
Tuesday NBA Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers -14.5
