Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin
Los Angeles will be without their star forward Paul George on Sunday. George is dealing with a right knee sprain, and may not play in the Clippers’ first-round series at all. George is tied for the team lead in scoring with 23.8 points per game this season.
Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook closed the season on a high note. In four games in April, Westbrook averaged 20.8 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game. In that same span, he shot 50.8% from the field and an astounding 52.9% from three-point land. He’ll have multiple scoring opportunities on Sunday due to the absence of Paul George and the defensive liabilities of the Suns’ starting guards.
Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
Phoenix point guard Cameron Payne is questionable for the team’s Sunday clash with Los Angeles. Payne is dealing with lower back soreness. Payne is fifth on the club in scoring with 10.3 points per game.
Suns shooting guard Devin Booker may be in line for a big game on Sunday. The former #13 overall pick out of Kentucky may have Norman Powell or Eric Gordon guarding him, as Clippers’ defensive stopper Kawhi Leonard will likely be matched up with Kevin Durant. In 32 career playoff games, Devin Bookers has posted 26.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.3 made three-pointers per game. His efficiency may not be great as he’s shot 44.8% from the floor in the playoffs, but his shot volume should be enough to offset that for DFS purposes on Sunday.
Clippers vs. Suns NBA Betting Trends

Los Angeles is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following an outright win.

Phoenix is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win.
Clippers vs. Suns NBA Prediction
The Suns have been solid in the first round of the playoffs the past few years. Phoenix is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 first-round playoff games. Phoenix has also been good on Sundays as they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Sunday games.
The Clippers, on the other hand, have struggled on Sundays. L.A. is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games. Los Angeles has floundered on the road against good home teams as they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games against a team with a home winning percentage greater than .600. Finally, and most importantly, the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against the Suns. The public seems to think this line is too high, but I disagree. I’ll lay the points with the Suns at home.
