Pistons falling behind
The Pistons are struggling to get themselves back on track right now, as they have lost three of their last four games. They are coming off a 125-88 loss at Indiana on Friday night. Detroit is now 16-17 on the season, 5-9 on the road, 16-16-1 against the spread and 18-15 with the under.
Detroit has struggled on offense this season, averaging 107.7 points per game while shooting just 43.4 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from the arc. Defensively, the Pistons are giving up 109.5 points per game, but they do have the top 3-point defense, as opponents hit just 31.8 percent from the arc. Blake Griffin is leading the team with 25.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. Andre Drummond adds 17.5 points and 15.3 rebounds per contest.

NBA Betting Trends
Detroit
The Pistons are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games following a loss and 4-0 ATS in their last four road games against a team with a losing home record.
Orlando
The Magic are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games following a win and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games after playing on 1 day of rest.
Prediction:
The Pistons won the first meeting with Orlando this year and I think they can come through on the road as well. Orlando doesn’t match up well with Detroit, as the Magic rely on scoring from their inside players, and Detroit has two very strong paint players in Griffin and Drummond. The Pistons lack of shooting shouldn’t hurt them in this game, as I see them getting a needed win and cover.
NBA Prediction: Detroit Pistons +2
