Memphis Grizzlies DFS Notes
Ja Morant hit 15-of-30 shots and 7-of-10 free throws for 37 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and nine turnovers in Monday’s 122-119 overtime loss to the Sixers, who were without Joel Embiid. Morant was 0-for-5 from downtown and the turnovers were pretty ridiculous, while he was also matched shot for shot by Tyrese Maxey of the Sixers. Morant missed a free throw that would have won the game for the Grizzlies in regulation and Memphis couldn’t stop Maxey in the extra frame. Morant has now scored between 30 and 41 points in each of his last seven games and hasn’t had a bad shooting night since Jan. 13.
New York Knicks DFS Notes
Nerlens Noel played through a sore left knee on Monday and finished with two points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in 21 minutes. He played just seven minutes in the first half and was iffy to play in the second half but Tom Thibodeau decided to run him out there despite the left knee problem. With Obi Toppin (14 points in 19 minutes) and Mitchell Robinson healthy right now it’s going to be hard to justify using Noel in fantasy lineups.
Grizzlies vs. Knicks NBA Betting Prediction
The Grizzlies are 13-4 against the spread in their last 17 games overall, are 14-4 against the number in their last 18 road games and have cashed in eight of their last 10 games as a favorite. On the other side, the Knicks are 8-21 against the spread in their last 29 games playing on one day of rest and are 1-7 at the betting window in their last eight home games versus a team with a winning road record.
