Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin
The Memphis Grizzlies just got star shooting guard Desmond Bane back from injury on December 23rd after he had missed the previous six weeks. Bane scored 17 points in a road win against the Suns on Friday. He might still be a bit rusty, so I’d steer clear of him for DFS purposes.
For some cost-effective big-man production, I’d consider Memphis power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. Jackson is averaging 16.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks per game while shooting an efficient 50.6% from the field this year. Others might look at Ja Morant or Dillon Brooks for DFS purposes, but Jackson should offer some counting stats on the cheap.
Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
The Golden State Warriors will be missing several significant players for Sunday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Warriors guard Stephen Curry will miss the game with a shoulder injury, forward Andrew Wiggins will be out with a groin ailment, and forward JaMychal Green will miss Sunday’s game with an illness. On top of all of that, Golden State power forward Draymond Green is officially listed as questionable with right foot soreness.
If you need scoring in DFS, consider Warriors guard Jordan Poole. Poole is averaging 19.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.5 made three-pointers per game. He should get several more shots than he usually would due to all of the key players being out for the Warriors and DFS owners stand to benefit from that.

Without Curry, the Warriors are much easier to defend, and without Wiggins, they are much easier to score on. I think Memphis is one of the best teams in the NBA and they will lay the smackdown on a short-handed Warriors team on Christmas night in San Francisco. I’ll lay the points with the Grizzlies.
