Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
The Atlanta Hawks are locked into the #8 seed and will play the Miami Heat in the first round of the play-in tournament on April 11th. Because of that, they will be sitting several regular starters for the team’s regular-season finale in Boston. Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, John Collins, Clint Capela, and Bogdan Bogdanovic have all been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
Hawks forward De’Andre Hunter is probable for Sunday’s game as he has been dealing with left knee soreness. If Hunter suits up, he will be Atlanta’s leading active scorer as he’s pouring in 15.4 points per game on 46% shooting from the field this season. He could be a valuable player in DFS on pure volume alone. Atlanta forward Saddiq Bey would also be a worthy DFS option as he’s scored in double figures in every game this month and he should see a full complement of shots on Sunday.
Boston Celtics DFS Spin
The Celtics will be without center Al Horford and shooting guard Jaylen Brown on Sunday. Horford is nursing a back ailment and Brown is recovering from a lacerated finger that he suffered in an off-court incident.
The injury status of three other players remains unclear for Boston. Small forward Jayson Tatum, point guard Marcus Smart, and center Robert Williams III are all officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s tilt with Atlanta.
Boston small forward Sam Hauser could be a nice DFS sleeper on Sunday due to several of his teammates likely to miss the game. Hauser racked up 26 points in Boston’s home win over Toronto on Friday and he and fellow bench player Payton Pritchard might be poised for big games against a shorthanded Hawks team on Sunday.

Hawks vs. Celtics NBA Prediction
Neither of these teams will be at full strength, but Boston has the edge due to their superior depth and three-point shooting. The Celtics are shooting 37.5% from beyond the arc this season, a figure that ranks sixth in the NBA. What’s more, Boston has five players that shoot over 36% from deep that are likely to see action in this game.
The Hawks on the other hand only shoot 35.3% from three-point range, a figure which ranks 21st in the league. What’s worse, four of Atlanta’s top nine three-point shooters won’t be playing on Sunday. The three-point shot reigns supreme in the modern NBA and I think Boston will have a big enough advantage in that department that they’ll win fairly easily on Sunday. I’ll lay the points with the Celtics at home.
