Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
Dejounte Murray has been suspended for Game 5 in Boston for “making inappropriate contact with and verbally abusing a game official.” There it is. Less than 24 hours after the Hawks dropped Game 4 at home, they find out they’ll be without Murray in Boston. Down 3-1, the odds of extending the series were already slim, and now they’re practically non-existent. Bogdan Bogdanovic will likely slide into the starting unit and try and provide a huge 3-point boost
Boston Celtics DFS Spin
Marcus Smart recorded a line of 19 points (8-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, and three 3-pointers in Sunday’s 129-121 win over Atlanta, playing 29 minutes. After taking a hard fall during Friday’s Game 3 defeat, Smart was in the starting lineup and appeared to be moving fine Sunday night. While he didn’t record any defensive stats, he did shoot better than 50% from the field and connect on three 3-pointers. Following the game, Smart said that his back locked up on a few occasions, but he was able to stay loose while not in the game. He wasn’t the only Celtics guard to step up and supplement the efforts of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, who scored 31 points apiece to lead the way. Derrick White (18/2/2 with four 3-pointers) and Malcolm Brogdon (14/4/4 with one 3-pointer) also shot at least 50% from the field as Boston took a 3-1 series lead. They’ll look to close out the Hawks Tuesday night in Boston.
