Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
Trae Young hit 13-of-21 shots and two 3-pointers for a season-high 32 points, four rebounds, nine assists, a steal and just two turnovers in Monday’s 122-104 win over the Pistons. John Collins added 22 points and a full stat line in the easy win as the Pistons were outmatched without Jerami Grant tonight. Ice Trae’s scoring has increased in every game this season and he’s starting to heat up. Unfortunately, he can’t play the Pistons every single night.
New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes
The Pelicans fell to 0-3 with Saturday’s 96-89 loss in Minnesota, despite Brandon Ingram scoring a game-high 30 points. Ingram added six rebounds, four assists and one steal. He shot 12-of-23 from the field with three triples, and the only marks against him were seven turnovers. The Pelicans as a team coughed it up 28 times, self-inflicted damage that led directly to their third straight loss to begin the season. Win or lose, Ingram is still a stat magnet who should cruise as a top-50 guy even when his efficiency lags behind.
