Hawks vs. Warriors Prediction
The Warriors might be without Steph Curry tonight when they host the Hawks at 10:30PM ET. Will Golden State cover as a sizable favorite if Curry doesn’t play?
Marc Stein tweeted that Curry did not go through shootaround today and remains questionable for tonight’s game against Atlanta. The Warriors’ star player rolled his ankle during Saturday’s overtime thriller versus the Thunder and it appears as though Curry will be a game-time decision. If he’s out, Shaun Livingston and Lendro Barbosa will see increased minutes and the offense will likely go through Draymond Green.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv currently list the over/under at 217 points, down from the opening number of 220. The Warriors are also an 8.5-point home favorite over the Blazers after opening as a 9-point favorite. Golden State is 9-1 overall in its last 10 games and 4-5-1 against the spread, while Atlanta is 5-5 both straight up and at the betting window.
Bettors should jump on the Hawks with Curry’s status still up in the air. The Warriors are 2-5-1 against the spread in their last eight games and that’s with Curry in the lineup. If he’s out, the line is sure to drop and bettors will lose out on the value that is currently provided with Atlanta listed at +8.5.
