Bam Adebayo stuffed the stat sheet on Thursday and finished with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs), 16 rebounds, six assists, one block and one triple in a 114-104 win over Toronto. It has been a difficult season for Adebayo and the fantasy managers that have him rostered, but he has started to figure things out recently. Prior to this game, he had made at least 50% of his shots in three straight games and still shot fairly well in this one. Adebayo has had one of the worst shooting seasons of his career, but his value will rise if he continues to shoot like he has recently. They’ll have a few days off before he’ll look to keep this up in Detroit on Monday.
Cunningham posts solid line vs. Boston
Cade Cunningham posted a solid line on Thursday with 18 points (9-of-22 FGs), eight rebounds, eight assists and one block against Boston. When these two teams faced off last week, Cunningham had a spectacular performance and fell one rebound shy of a triple-double. This time around, he still approached triple-double territory, but he wasn’t able to contribute the same numbers. Prior to this game, Cunningham had scored at least 20 points in seven straight games and had double-doubles in six of those. They’ll have a few days off before Miami comes to town on Monday, and Cade has scored at least 20 points in their other two matchups this season. He’ll continue to be the only reliable fantasy option on the team moving forward.
