Miami Heat DFS Spin
Kyle Lowry hit just 1-of-8 shots for seven points, three rebounds and two assists in Monday’s 98-90 loss to the Raptors, his former team. So much for a revenge game, huh? The 36-year-old point guard played pretty well in his previous two games, going for 17 points and six dimes in each of them, but didn’t do much to help the Heat tonight. He’s worth rostering as long as he’s starting but we have a feeling he’s going to be bouncing on and off of waiver wires all season long, especially if he doesn’t start performing more consistently. He’s hit just 11-of-39 shots (28 percent) on the season.
Portlnd Trail Blazers DFS Spin
Anfernee Simons hit 11-of-17 shots and seven 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 29 points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block in 36 minutes of Monday’s easy 135-110 win over the Nuggets. Simons went bonkers in the third quarter when he hit 6-of-6 3-pointers and scored 22 points and the Blazers put up 44 points while putting the Nuggets out of their misery. Simons had scored 22, 16 and 12 points in his previous three games, hitting just 19-of-56 shots along the way, but got it all turned around tonight. Hopefully, he can build off this game and shoot the ball better than he had been previously. He was a blast to watch tonight and grabbed Twitter’s collective attention with that third quarter. The Blazers are now 4-0 for the first time since 1999.
