Sacramento Kings DFS Spin
Kings guards Davion Mitchell and Malik Monk are both questionable for Sunday’s tilt in Denver. Mitchell has left knee soreness, and Monk has a lower leg injury. Monk averages 13.6 points per game and Mitchell averages 5.6 points per game. The Kings don’t have much to play for so it’s worth monitoring the status of their star players all the way up to game time.
If Sacramento does sit starters or limit their minutes, reserve players Terence Davis and Trey Lyles could see spikes in usage and scoring on Sunday. Davis scored 10 points and Lyles chipped in 15 in the Kings’ 119-97 loss to the Warriors on Friday night and the pair may see an increase in shot volume if Sacramento rests their starters before the playoffs on Sunday.
Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Denver is locked into the #1 seed in the Western Conference so it’s unknown who they’ll elect to sit on Sunday. Nuggets small forward Bruce Brown sat out Saturday’s game with a knee injury and he’s officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Nuggets power forward Jeff Green suffered a face contusion in Saturday’s game and his status for Sunday is uncertain.
It’s difficult to know who’s going to play for Denver on Sunday, as their entire starting lineup suited up against the Jazz on Saturday, but none of them topped the 30-minute mark. The primary beneficiaries were Nuggets guards Reggie Jackson and Christian Braun on Saturday. Braun poured in 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting against the Jazz on Saturday and he may see an uptick in offensive output against Sacramento if Denver limits their starters’ minutes again on Sunday.

Kings vs. Nuggets NBA Prediction
The Nuggets have lost 5 of their last 6 games as they’ve begun resting players and have turned their attention toward the playoffs. It’s very possible that Denver will elect to rest their best players like Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. on Sunday, and their status should be monitored all the way up to game time.
Sacramento has lost 3 of their last 4 games including an odd home loss to Golden State where they rested their top three scorers: De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and Kevin Huerter. All three players are absent from the injury report for Sunday’s game and should see some time on the floor albeit in likely limited minutes. The Kings have the second-best straight-up road record in the NBA at 25-15, and I think they continue that trend all the way to the end. I’ll take the Kings on the road in Denver on Sunday.
