Will it be 14 straight L’s for Knicks?
NEW YORK (TheSpread) – The New York Knicks are riding a 13-game losing streak heading into Thursday, as they get set to host the Houston Rockets tonight at 8PM ET.
New York is 5-33 on the season, 3-15 at home and 13-24-1 against the spread. Houston is 24-11 on the season, 11-5 on the road and 19-16 against the spread. Houston has won 10 straight meetings with the Knicks, but New York has covered in the last two meetings. These two have hit the under in six of their last eight meetings.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Rockets are the clear favorite in New York, as Houston is getting odds of -11.5 points against the Knicks tonight. The over/under total for the game has been set at 192.5 points.
Along with the 13-game losing streak, New York is 1-6-1 against the spread in their last eight games and they have failed to cover in four straight at home. The Knicks have hit the under in five straight games. Houston is just 3-4 in its last seven, also going 3-4 against the spread in those seven games. The Rockets covered at Cleveland last night but they are just 1-3 ATS in their last four road games and they have hit the under in four of their last five games.
