New York Knicks DFS Spin
Josh Hart is doubtful for Tuesday’s matchup with the Cavs due to a sprained left ankle. Hart had a big double-double in the Knicks’ Game 1 victory, but it’s now unlikely that he’ll be available for Game 2. In his absence, Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier and Obi Toppin could all pick up some extra minutes.
Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell finished Saturday’s 101-97 loss to the Knicks with 38 points (14-of-30 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block, and six 3-pointers in 44 minutes. With Saturday’s game being the first postseason game for many of his teammates, including Cleveland’s other four starters, Mitchell was very assertive offensively. He scored a game-high 38 points, but it wasn’t enough to help the Cavaliers defend their home court. While the Cavaliers didn’t appear to have an answer for New York’s Jalen Brunson, the same could be said for the Knicks regarding Mitchell. Look for him to have a few more big scoring nights in this series, with Game 2 scheduled for Tuesday night. Darius Garland took a back seat offensively, finishing with 17 points, one assist, four steals, one block, two 3-pointers, and five turnovers in 43 minutes.
