New York Knicks DFS Spin
Knicks shooting guard Immanuel Quickley is doubtful for Friday night’s road tilt with the Heat as he’s dealing with an ankle sprain. Quickley finished second in the Sixth Man of the Year Award voting this year and averaged 14.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game during the regular season. He was struggling in the playoffs before getting hurt (9 points per game on 34.8% shooting from the field) and may be out for the rest of the season.
New York point guard Jalen Brunson is worth considering in DFS as he’s been the Knicks’ best player all year. In Game 5 Brunson poured in 38 points on 12 of 22 shooting from the field to help the Knicks extend the series and force a Game 6. He should be ready to go in Miami on Friday night.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Miami shooting guards Victor Oladipo and Tyler Herro won’t play on Friday as they are dealing with significant injuries. Miami has a trio of players that are probable for Game 6, namely Jimmy Butler, Caleb Martin, and Haywood Highsmith. Those three should be suited up and ready to play come game time on Friday night.
For DFS purposes, I’d consider using Miami point guard Gabe Vincent. Vincent is third on the Heat in per game scoring these playoffs at 12 points per game and he’s second on the club in assists with 4.8 per game. To top it all off, Vincent is making 2.4 three-pointers per game while shooting a respectable 34.8% from beyond the arc this postseason.

Miami is 40-17-1 ATS in their last 58 second-round playoff games.
Knicks vs. Heat NBA Prediction
Game 5 of this series was a bit of an aberration and something I wouldn’t read too much into. The Knicks shot twice as many free throws as the Heat at home in a cursory 112-103 win. I could see Friday night’s game playing out very differently.
The Miami Heat have all kinds of trends on their side. The Heat have been great at home of late as they are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games. They have also been terrific on quick turnarounds. Miami is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 1 day of rest. And finally, the Heat have been excellent at rebounding after a loss. Miami is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an outright loss and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 contests following an ATS loss. The Knicks did well to make this series respectable, but I think their season ends convincingly in Miami on Friday night. I’ll lay the points with the Heat at home.
NBA BETTING PREDICTION: MIAMI HEAT -5.5
