‘Melo takes on former team Tuesday night
Carmelo Anthony will take on his former team tonight when the Knicks visit the Nuggets at 9:00PM ET. While New York is in a major funk, Denver has shown signs of life recently.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nuggets are now a 2.5-point home favorite over the Knicks while the over/under is sitting at 206.5 points. Denver opened as a 3.5-point favorite before the line as bet down, while the total opened at 204.5 before jumping a full two points.

While New York did pick up a win in its last game (a 102-89 win over the Pistons), the team is just 3-7 in its last 10 games and 2-5 in its last seven games. The Knicks have also failed to cover in eight of their last 11 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and are winless at 0-4 ATS in their last four games coming off a win.
The Nuggets have only won four of their last 10 games so they’re no exactly lighting up the NBA world either. But they picked up wins in two of their last three games, including as a 4-point home underdog on Sunday against a Dallas team that screwed up an inbound pass that set up the game to go to overtime. Denver is a profitable 13-5 against the spread in its last 18 games playing on one day of rest and is also 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games versus Eastern Conference opponents.
