Knicks vs. Pistons Game 4 Public Betting: Bettors Backing Detroit

Knicks Outlook
New York bounced back strong in Game 3 after a lackluster Game 2, regaining control of the series with physical defense and timely shot-making. Jalen Brunson continues to be the heartbeat of the Knicks’ attack, averaging over 26 points per game so far in the series, while Julius Randle’s return to form has been a major boost after a shaky first two games.
One key for the Knicks has been the emergence of Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart as glue guys — crashing the boards, defending hard, and hitting momentum-swinging shots. Expect Tom Thibodeau’s squad to again lean heavily on a tight 7–8 man rotation, focusing on physicality, half-court offense, and grinding Detroit down late in the shot clock.
Pistons Outlook
Detroit showed real heart stealing Game 2 in Madison Square Garden but couldn’t quite maintain the same energy in Game 3. Cade Cunningham has been a star throughout the series, mixing scoring and playmaking beautifully, but he needs more consistent help. Jaden Ivey’s athleticism has flashed, but turnovers and streaky shooting have been problems.
The Pistons must find a way to speed the game up. When they’re able to run — with Ausar Thompson and Marcus Sasser getting downhill — they cause real problems for the slower-paced Knicks. Defensively, Detroit’s bigs, Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart, must stay out of foul trouble and protect the rim without giving up easy second-chance points.
Key Matchup:
Julius Randle vs. Isaiah Stewart
When Randle is attacking early and drawing fouls, it changes everything for New York. Stewart’s physicality is crucial to keeping Randle frustrated and settling for tough jumpers instead of getting to the basket.
X-Factor:
Bench Scoring
Both teams have had wildly different bench production game to game. Whichever second unit (Detroit’s Killian Hayes, Alec Burks, and company vs. New York’s Miles McBride and Isaiah Hartenstein) steps up could tilt the result.
Knicks vs. Pistons Game 4 NBA Prediction:
Detroit’s young roster will come out energized at home, but the Knicks’ experience and defense should win out in crunch time. Expect a close one, but New York looks poised to grab a commanding 3–1 series lead.
