Clippers giving 3 to Mavericks
LOS ANGELES, CA (TheSpread) – Two of the best in the West meet on the NBA hardwood at 3:30PM ET today when the Los Angeles Clippers host the Dallas Mavericks.
Los Angeles is 24-12 on the season, 16-5 at home and 15-21 against the spread. Dallas is 26-11 overall, 13-5 on the road and 20-17 against the spread. The road team has actually won three of the last four in this series and covered the spread in four straight meetings. These two have hit the over in five straight meetings as well, but are playing for the first time this season today.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Clippers are the slight favorite at home, as L.A. is getting odds of -3 points against Dallas. The over/under total for today’s game has been set at 215 points.
Dallas is coming off a home loss to Detroit that snapped a six-game winning streak. The Mavericks also covered the spread in all six wins and have covered in three straight road games. Dallas has hit the under in its last three as well. The Clippers have won four of their last five and are 3-1 ATS in their last four games, all at home. Los Angeles has hit the under in six of its last seven games as well.
