Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
Anthony Davis dominated Houston on Sunday with 40 points (15-for-20 FGs, 10-for-12 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks in a 134-109 win. AD was able to reach 40 points for the first time since he scored 55 against Washington in early December and just the third time all season. The Lakers have win three straight and are getting hot at the right time, as they now sit just a half game behind the Clippers for 6th in the West. The Lakers play in Utah on Tuesday before the battle for LA on Wednesday, which means they could have the same record heading into the game. Hopefully, the Lakers will rest their guys on the front end of the back-to-back, instead of against the Clippers. LeBron James recorded the 107th triple-double of his career in this game, which allowed him to tie Jason Kidd for the 4th most in NBA history. Rui Hachimura had a monster game off the bench with 20 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Despite D’Angelo Russell’s early exit with a foot injury, Dennis Schroder only played 18 minutes, though he did start the second half in Russell’s place.
Utah Jazz DFS Spin
Walker Kessler has been placed in concussion protocols and will likely be out for the rest of the season. It looks like Walker Kessler’s impressive rookie season will come to an end. Kessler left Sunday’s loss mid-game after taking a shot to the head from a teammate. If Sunday was in fact Kessler’s last game of the season, he will have finished his rookie campaign averaging 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. He’s also one of the league leaders in field goal percentage and will likely finish fourth in total blocks.
