Lakers vs. Knicks Public Betting: Bettors Backing Los Angeles

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 64% of public bettors are currently backing the Lakers when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

James probable for Saturday’s tilt vs. Knicks

LeBron James (foot) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Knicks. Once again, James is on the injury report with left foot injury management. Given the probable listing, fantasy managers can expect the 40-year-old small forward to suit up against the Knicks Saturday.

Towns finishes with 14 points vs. Denver

Karl-Anthony Towns finished Wednesday’s win over Denver with 14 points (6-of-12 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes. Towns continues to play through his injured right thumb, but it’s fair to wonder if that issue has impacted his perimeter shooting. KAT missed all four of his 3-point attempts on Wednesday, and he’s now 3-of-18 from deep in his last five games. As a result, the scoring output hasn’t been as consistent as pre-injury, and Towns has provided 4th-round value in 8-cat formats over the past two weeks. He did record his 38th double-double of the season against the Nuggets, so there isn’t too much for fantasy managers to lose sleep over.

Lakers vs. Knicks NBA Prediction:

Take the under. In the last 10 meetings between these two teams, the under is 7-3. That includes a three-game under streak between these two teams, who last met in February of 2024. While the over has been slightly more profitable in recent L.A. (6-4) and New York (6-4) games when discussing the teams individually, I think the defenses will come up big tonight at MSG.

Lakers vs. Knicks Betting Prediction: UNDER 224.5
