Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
Lakers forward LeBron James is questionable for Saturday night’s game with an ankle injury. James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time NBA career scoring record on Tuesday night, sat out L.A.’s game Thursday night, and could be available for Saturday night’s game. If he is, he needs to be considered for all DFS lineups.
Lakers power forward Anthony Davis is probable for Saturday’s game with the Warriors, as he had been dealing with a foot ailment. Davis is averaging 26.6 points, 12 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per contest in 32 games for the Lakers this season.
Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Golden State point guard Stephen Curry will be out until the All-Star break with a left knee injury. Curry had been averaging 29.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game for the Warriors this season prior to getting injured.
If you need a cost-effective wing player for DFS, consider Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins. The former #1 overall draft pick is averaging a respectable line of 16.9 points, 5 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.4 made three-pointers per game this season. Wiggins has been shooting well from deep this year as he’s converted 39.4% of his threes while attempting 6.1 treys per game.

Los Angeles is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games.
Golden State is 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Golden State is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games against a team with a losing road record.
Golden State is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games.
Lakers vs. Warriors NBA Prediction
Stephen Curry last played for the Warriors on February 4th, and Golden State has gone 1-1 in the two games since then. They needed 42 points from Klay Thompson to beat Oklahoma City 141-114 on February 6th and needed 38 points from Jordan Poole to keep their February 8th game against Portland competitive before ultimately losing 125-122. The Warriors without Stephen Curry are a much different team than they are with him, and I think they’ll have a hard time scoring points in bunches without the best shooter of all time on the floor to open up their offense.
I think Los Angeles is able to reset as they’ve finally shipped out the uber-talented malcontent Russell Westbrook and they’ve brought in a few players that can help them like D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, and Rui Hachimura. I think LeBron James returns to the court, Anthony Davis plays well and the Lakers either win or come very close.
