Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
Lakers stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both listed as probable for Wednesday’s game against the Warriors. Both players have played well in this series and they should be instrumental in the outcome of this game. For DFS purposes I’d lean more towards Anthony Davis as LeBron James may look to conserve some energy and cruise in Game 5 on Wednesday night.
For a DFS sleeper, consider Los Angeles guard Lonnie Walker IV. Walker poured in 15 huge points in the fourth quarter of Game 4 and he may see an expanded role in the Lakers’ offense going forward as a result. He’s got a good chance to score in double figures on Wednesday.
Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Golden State small forward Andrew Wiggins could be in for a big day on Wednesday night. Wiggins is third on the club in scoring this postseason with 16.9 points per game and he’s third on the team in rebounding with 5.8 boards per game. Wiggins could prove to be a cost-effective DFS option in Game 5 on Wednesday.
If you’re looking for a buy-low option at guard, consider Golden State’s Gary Payton II. Payton is only averaging 6.5 points per game in the postseason, but he is sinking 65.2% of his field goal attempts. What’s more, Payton is also averaging 3.6 rebounds per game in these playoffs. He may see more time on the floor if Jordan Poole continues his cold shooting in this series.
Lakers vs. Warriors NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games.
Golden State is 41-19-1 ATS in their last 61 home games.
Golden State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss.
Golden State is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games against a team with a losing road record.
Lakers vs. Warriors NBA Prediction
Golden State narrowly lost Game 4 of this series on Monday in Los Angeles 104-101. The Warriors were a few plays from evening the series up at 2-2. The Warriors have been a great home team against the number this season. Golden State is a league-best 29-16-1 ATS at home this year. What’s more, Golden State is 24-16-1 ATS as a home favorite this season, the sixth-best mark in the league. The Warriors are the defending champs. And former Rockets head coach Rudy Tomjanovich said it best, “Never underestimate the heart of a champion.” I’ll take the Warriors minus the points at home on Wednesday.
