Franz Wagner finished Sunday’s 119-106 win over the Nets with 19 points (6-of-11 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 32 minutes. Back in action after spraining his left ankle during Thursday’s win over the Knicks, Wagner recorded his second double-double of the season Sunday night. He’s reached double figures in scoring in 11 straight games, and he’s been a top 100 player in 9-cat formats over the last month. Wagner sits just outside that threshold in season-long value, and he’s unlikely to reach his Yahoo ADP of 74. That said, getting close to top-100 value from a second-year player is nothing to scoff at. Wendell Carter Jr. (18/6/2 with one 3-pointer) and Paolo Banchero (11/9/4 with one 3-pointer) also scored in double figures, as Orlando’s frontcourt badly outplayed Nets players not named Mikal Bridges.
Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin
Ja Morant returned to the starting lineup on Sunday and finished with 27 points (9-for-17 FGs, 9-for-11 FTs), three rebounds, six assists and a steal in a 123-119 win over Atlanta. After playing off the bench in their last two games, Morant’s return to the starting lineup went smoothly. He provided solid value off the bench in his first two games back from suspension, but he was able to play 29 minutes in this game after playing just 24 and 19 minutes in his previous two. His return to the starting unit pushed Tyus Jones to the bench, which only allowed him to play 23 minutes. He provided a 13/2/5 line, which isn’t to the level he was contributing as a starter but is enough to be serviceable in deeper leagues.
