Orlando Magic DFS Spin
Wendell Carter Jr. recorded a line of 15 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, and two 3-pointers in Tuesday’s 129-110 loss to the Lakers. Carter is still on a minutes restriction, but he made good use of his 19 minutes on the floor Tuesday night. More effective than he was in his first game back from injury, WCJ shot 75% from the field and tied for the team lead with four assists. Moritz Wagner (12/4/4/2 with one 3-pointer) remained in the starting lineup Tuesday night, but he only played 21 minutes. A lineup change may not come immediately with the Magic back in action Wednesday night (at Detroit). But it feels like it won’t be long before Carter rejoins the starting lineup.
Detroit Pistons DFS Spin
Isaiah Stewart lit up the Clippers for 21 points (8-for-10 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and three triples on Monday. Stewart reached the 20-point mark for just the second time this season, though he didn’t match his season-high of 24 that he set in October. He has had a poor stretch of games lately, but he was able to tie his best shooting night of the season in this game. His role has definitely altered over the course of the season, and he’s now a true stretch four. With the emergence of Jalen Duren as the starting center, Stewart should continue to provide fantasy value while playing on the perimeter offensively.
