Fultz to Miss Saturday’s Game vs. Pistons

Markelle Fultz (left knee injury maintenance) will miss Saturday’s matchup with the Pistons. Fultz sat out Orlando’s final game before the All-Star break on February 14, and Saturday’s absence will mark three games in a row on the sidelines. It’s concerning that Fultz isn’t healthy enough to take the court after extended time off, and fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status moving forward. Fultz’s next chance to play will come Sunday against the Hawks. While he’s out, Cole Anthony and Anthony Black should absorb most of his minutes.

Cunningham Leads Detroit with 30 Points

Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 30 points (13-of-21 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in a 129-115 loss to Indiana on Thursday. Cade struggled in their final two games before the All-Star break, but he was able to get back on track in this one. He had his first 30-point game since January 5th and hit four 3-pointers for the first time since December 28th.

It has been an up-and-down season for Cunningham, but he is more than capable of providing this type of production. They will head home to host the Magic for their next game on Saturday, which will be their final game of the week. The Magic are an excellent defensive team, but Cunningham will still look to keep up the production to try and help Detroit get their ninth win of the season.
