Magic vs. Raptors Public Betting: Bettors Backing Home Dog

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 67% of public bettors are currently backing the Raptors when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Banchero struggling for Magic

Paolo Banchero had 10 points (4-of-17 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks against the Nuggets on Sunday. Banchero haș suddenly had three less than stellar games in a row. The 22-year-old power forward is 20-of-56 from the field with 53 points in his last three games. This is not the level of production we’ve come to expect from the Magic star. The former Rookie of the Year deserves some patience as he returned from injury less than two weeks ago.

Barnes has rough shooting night

Scottie Barnes had 10 points (4-of-16 FGs), eight rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and two blocks against the Bucks on Friday. Barnes had a rough night shooting against the Bucks Friday. The 23-year-old small forward had just 10 points on 16 shots and missed all six of his 3-point attempts. It’s a testament to Barnes’ varied skillset that the game wasn’t a total loss for fantasy managers. He was just two rebounds shy of a triple-double. The fact that he can produce like that while having a poor shooting night is impressive. Barnes remains in the top 50 in fantasy value on the year.

Magic vs. Raptors NBA Prediction:

Take Orlando. The Magic have won seven out of their last 10 games versus the Raptors both straight up and against the spread. Orlando has won four consecutive games both straight up and ATS against the Raptors, including a 106-97 win in Toronto on January 3. Even though the Magic have lost three straight, I’m banking on Orlando rebounding against a team that it has had its number.

Magic vs. Raptors Betting Prediction: ORLANDO MAGIC -2.5
