Memphis Grizzlies Fantasy Spin
Mike Conley said his finger still isn’t 100 percent. “There’s pain still, but it’s uncomfortable and it’s hard to hold the ball,” he added. “I like to go right a lot, and it’s hard to hold the ball with my right hand.” He is hopeful that the swelling will go down by Monday night before their game vs. the Nuggets, and while season-long owners can plan on deploying him, DFS owners might want to look elsewhere since he’s been held to 6-of-24 shooting in his last two games.
Denver Nuggets Fantasy Spin
Nikola Jokic made 9-of-17 from the field for 24 points during a 106-98 loss to the Hawks on Saturday, adding 11 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one turnover in 33 minutes. It’s been a rough road trip for the Nuggets, who have now lost Paul Millsap (toe) and Gary Harris (hip) for several games — Jamal Murray picked up what looks like a minor injury. In other news, the concerns about Jokic’s low usage should subside based on his splits with Millsap off the floor this season, posting per-36 numbers of 23.4 points, 11.5 boards, 8.6 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks. He is going to be a one-man wrecking crew for the Nuggets.
