Bucks bounce back

Milwaukee looked off in a loss at Miami earlier in the week, but the Bucks bounced back on Wednesday night with a 119-100 win at home over Indiana. Milwaukee is now 53-9 on the season, 25-6 on the road, 36-26 against the spread and 32-29-1 with the under.

The Bucks lead the league in offense this season, averaging 119.1 points per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field. Defensively, Milwaukee ranks second by allowing just 106.7 points per game. The Bucks hold opponents to just 41.1 percent shooting, which ranks tops in the league. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the team with 29.6 points, 13.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Khris Middleton is adding 20.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest.

Lakers staying atop the West

Los Angeles has won its last two and nine of its last 10 following a 120-107 win at home over the 76ers on Tuesday night. The Lakers come into this game 47-13 on the season, 22-7 at home, 33-26-1 against the spread and 30-30 with the over/under total.

The Lakers are putting up 114.6 points per game on offense this season while shooting a league-best 48.7 percent from the field. Defensively, Los Angeles is giving up 107.1 points per game while opponents shoot 44.6 percent against them. LeBron James is averaging 25.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.7 assists per game to lead the team. Anthony Davis is adding 26.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Milwaukee

The Bucks are 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games and 5-1 ATS in their last six against Pacific Division opponents.

Los Angeles

The Lakers are 7-0 against the spread in seven straight in March, but 1-6 ATS in their last seven against Central Division opponents.

Prediction:

The Bucks took the first game in December at home, 111-104. They have actually won six straight in this series while covering in the last five. This is certainly a big game and I would expect LeBron to want to make a statement, but I think the Bucks just have the better overall depth. Milwaukee can win with offense or defense. The Lakers have to rely heavily on just LeBron and Davis and I think Milwaukee can find a way to limit their damage, especially with the Greek Freak in the paint. LeBron also knows this isn’t the Finals. The Lakers don’t need to show their hand tonight while Milwaukee still needs to build up playoff confidence. I will go with the Bucks to get the big win.

NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks even
